The information will validate and or augment an HR Professional’s knowledge by addressing concepts that speak to the strategic role of Human Resource in employee development.
Why They Stay or Go will provide participants with an overview of the organizational and individual considerations that affect an employee's
motivation, morale and commitment to an employer.
About the Speaker
Mary F. Cimini, Director of LifeWatch Employee Assistance Program
Mary F. Cimini, Director of LifeWatch EAP, is an individual and organizational change agent with more
than 25 years of internal and external consulting experience providing coaching, training, and systems
interventions that align behavior with strategy, enhance skills at all levels, improve communication, and
increase customer satisfaction. She has unique abilities to bring focus, build commitment, overcome obstacles,
and facilitate change and learning.
As an internal consultant, Mary has worked in the fields of community behavioral health, government, healthcare, hospitality,
utilities, and career management in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors. She has created and directed four
departments of training and organization development, and has had corporate responsibilities for internal communications
and continuous improvement activities.
As an external consultant, Mary has worked with numerous small
business and not-for-profit organizations facilitating improved individual and organizational performance.
Mary is a Certified Coach, a former faculty member of Bryant College’s (RI) Center for Management Development,
and a current presenter in the Rhode Island College School of Social Work's Continuing Education Department.
She holds an
undergraduate degree in Communications, graduate degrees in Adult Education and Social Work, a Certificate in Human Resources Administration,
and is MBTI Certified. Additionally, Mary is a Certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor and a Mental Health First
Aid Instructor Trainer through the National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare.
