Lauren Poniatoski of Torrington, CT is the 2008 recipient of the HRM-RI College Student Scholarship. Lauren is a junior at Bryant University majoring in management.
She has shown her commitment to the human resource field by completing a summer internship at ING in Hartford, CT and is currently an internship in the Human Resource Dept at the Miriam Hospital. She is president of the SHRM chapter at Bryant and has taken on the leadership role of sponsoring the New England Student SHRM leadership games at Bryant in March, 2008. In addition, Lauren has maintained a grade point average of 3.5
