How to Register and Pay for HRM-RI Events

Register Online

Online registration is available for most HRM-RI events. Look for the "register online now" link wherever an HRM-RI event is listed or described on our site.

You will find "register online now" links for HRM-RI events displayed in our Calendar. You will also see "register online now" links in articles about HRM-RI events which appear on our home page or other web pages.

HRM-RI members may receive e-mail newsletters and meeting reminders with "register online now" links.

Whenever you use the "register online now" link for an event, you will be taken to a registration form which is pre-filled with the name and date of that event.

The correct registration fee for that event will appear in the form as soon as you indicate your membership status. (HRM-RI members usually pay a lower registration fee than non-members.)

If you register any guests, please indicate whether or not you wish to pay for them. If so, the guest registration fee will be included automatically in the total amount.

If you are logged into our site as an HRM-RI member, your name, address, e-mail address, etc., are pre-filled in the registration form for your convenience.

Online Registration Payment Options

In the online registration form, please choose the payment method which you prefer. If you are not paying by credit card, please follow-up by remitting your payment either before or at the event.

For most HRM-RI events, members who register online before the registration deadline can take advantage of a lower "pre-registered member" fee, even if they opt to send payment by mail or to pay at the event.

Registrants who choose to pay online with a credit card will be taken to our special payment form on the PayPal web site, where they can complete the transaction securely.

(You do NOT need to have a PayPal account, or to open one, in order to pay online with your credit card.)

Register by Mail or Fax

Registration by mail or fax is available for most HRM-RI events. Look for the "get more information" or "learn more" link wherever an HRM-RI event is listed or described on our site.

A "get more information" or "learn more" link will take you to a web page with more details on the event; there you can download a printer-friendly registration form in PDF format.

(You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view/print PDFs. If you don't already have it, you can download Acrobat Reader FREE from the Adobe web site at www.adobe.com.)

After you print and complete the registration form, either mail it to the address shown on the form, or fax it to the fax number shown on the form.

When mailing forms, please allow sufficient time for postal delivery. We must receive your form prior to the registration deadline, if you wish to take advantage of the lower "pre-registered member" fee.

If you are mailing a registration form, please include your payment. If you are faxing a registration form, please follow-up by remitting your payment either before or at the event.

 

Special Events May Require Pre-Registration and Payment in Advance

Occasionally, HRM-RI presents or co-presents a special event which entails a higher cost than our usual programs or which entails a limit on the number of people who can attend.

For such events, PRE-REGISTRATION may be REQUIRED. In some cases, payment in advance may also be required.

If pre-registration is required, then no walk-ins or at-the-door registrations will be accepted on the day of the event. This fact will be noted in articles providing details about the event.

If payment in advance is required, then registrants must pay when they pre-register and can not submit payment at the door on the day of the event. This fact will be noted in articles providing details about the event, and will also be indicated by the payment options which appear in the online registration form.

If You Have Registration or Payment Related Problems/Questions

If you encounter problems with completing or submitting the online registration form on the HRM-RI web site, please contact our webmaster.

If you are trying to pay online with a credit card through PayPal and your card is rejected, or you receive an error message on the PayPal site, this is usually because the card number or expiration date you have entered is not correct, or because the cardholder information you have entered is not an EXACT match to the information on your credit card statement. Even a slight discrepancy can cause problems. For example, if your middle initial appears on your credit card statement but you forget to include it when completing the PayPal payment form, your card may be rejected.

Please double-check all of your credit card information and try again. If you are still unable to pay through PayPal after several attempts, please contact Lisa Ariosto at lisa@associationsystems.net or (401) 737-0961 to make arrangements for paying by another means.
