HRM-RI Membership and SHRM Membership
HRM-RI is a local chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management
(SHRM). At this time, it is not necesssary for an individual
to be a member of
SHRM in order to join HRM-RI; however, SHRM membership is strongly recommended
for HRM-RI members due to the many benefits and information resources
provided by SHRM.
Please note that the membership application process and dues payment for
SHRM membership is separate from the application process and dues payment
for HRM-RI. Becoming a member of SHRM does not automatically make someone
a member of HRM-RI, and the reverse is also true: becoming a member
of HRM-RI does not automatically make someone a member of SHRM.
