HRM-RI Holiday Initiative: Adopt-a-Family Program

This holiday season, HRM-RI is participating in an Adopt-a-Family Program through the National Guard Family Readiness Program. We are adopting a family of three children of a Rhode Island service-
woman currently serving in Iraq -- a family in need of assistance during this holiday season.

A total of $630 was collected from members at our breakfast meeting on November 14th, and many members have also contributed online, paying through PayPal (see grand total at right.) HRM-RI has agreed to match these donations up to a maximum amount of $1,000.

Thanks to the generosity of HRM-RI members, we will be able to purchase gifts for the children as well as a family holiday meal.
