4/8/2010 - Annual Legislative Update

(A Pre-Conference to theTri-State SHRM Conference)

Legislation that impacts employers and employees in the workplace such as healthcare, labor relations, workplace flexibility and immigration is a high priority for human resource professionals. This session will provide attendees with insight on the latest federal legislative and public policy updates including pending federal and state legislation, a summary of SHRM's legislative agenda and SHRM's advocacy strategy.

A panel of experts will share their views on recent legislative developments, as well as proposed legislation, in CT, MA, and RI. This Legislative Pre-Conference will focus on the most compelling labor and employment law, compliance and legislative issues facing today's work place in our area.

This year's Legislative Update is being held as a pre-conference to the Tri-State SHRM Conference. You can register for the full Tri-State Conference (4/7 - 4/9), or just for the Legislative pre-conference on 4/8.
