HRM-RI East Bay Meeting on June 16th: Voluntary Benefits

HRM-RI Earns Superior Merit Chapter Designation for 2004

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has awarded the Superior Merit Chapter designation to the Human Resource Management Association of Rhode Island for its scope of work in perpetuating and supporting the mission of the organization in 2004.

"By achieving Superior Merit designation, your chapter has distinguished itself as an outstanding organization dedicated to serving the networking and professional development needs of your members and to the advancement of the human resources profession," noted Keith J. Greene, SPHR, Vice President for Member Relations for SHRM.

2005 Outstanding Public Service Award Presented to RI Secretary of State Matt Brown

HRM-RI Members Help to Host Newport Chamber Roundtables

Working in conjunction with the Newport County Chamber of Commerce, HRM-RI members have been helping to host round table sessions. The latest session on May 19th addressed various types of employee leave, ranging from paid-time-off to the FMLA. The event was hosted by Jackie Dube and David Goldman.
