Aquidneck Island Committee Gets
New Name and New Co-Chairs
The Aquidneck Island Committee of HRM-RI has been renamed the East Bay
Committee. Its new Co-Chairs for 2005 are Jackie Dube, SPHR, HR
Director of Child
& Family Services in Newport, and Diane Karcz, Assistant VP of HR at

Power of Choice: Diversity Businesses Vote on Top
Corporations
Bank of America was today declared the Top Corporation for Multicultural Business
Opportunities of 2004 by over 350,000 diversity business owners. The honor
extends to another forty-nine major corporations and is collectively called
the Div50. Other large companies at the top of the list are Lockheed Martin, OfficeMax, Dell,

O'Brien On Panel Which Discussed
Workplace Flexibility & FMLA Issues at D.C. Roundtable
On Monday, January 24, 2005, in Washington, D.C.,
HRM-RI member Elissa O'Brien was asked to give the Human Resource
Professional perspective on Workplace Flexibility as it pertains
to the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). This panel discussion,
hosted by Georgetown University School
of Law as part of its Workplace Flexibility 2010 initiative.
Stahr Joins Membership Committee
