The Human Resource Management Association of Rhode Island presents

Performance Management

Presented by Robert H. Morsilli, Partner
Jackson Lewis LLP

About the Presentation

Performance management remains one of the most difficult issues human resources professionals confront on a daily basis. This program will provide practical tips designed to improve your organization's performance management while also reducing your organization's susceptibility to employment-related liability. Specific topics to be covered include:

  • Recognizing the importance of effective documentation in the performance management process;

  • Understanding the dangers of unnecessary or inappropriate documentation in our litigious society;

  • Utilizing corrective action in a positive manner without fear of legal liability;

  • Conducting thorough workplace investigations;

  • Making performance evaluations work for your organization.
