HRM-RI Hosts Newport Chamber Roundtables

On December 9th, HRM-RI hosted the second in a series of roundtable events at the Newport Chamber of Commerce. The featured topic was Discipline and Termination. David Goldman, SPHR, Chair of HRM-RI's Aquidneck Island Affiliate Committee, answered questions and facilitated discussion.

HRM-RI Members Serve on Steering Committee of New RI Business Leadership Network (BLN)

HRM-RI members Pat Orr, Senior HR Representative at AIPSO, and Tom McDonough, HR Director for The Providence Journal Bulletin, are involved with an exciting initiative called the Rhode Island Business Leadership Network (RI BLN).

The focus of this group is "business to business" sharing of information and strategies that support the recruitment, hiring, and retention of employees with disabilities. Learn more!

O'Brien On Panel at Leadership Conference
