HRM-RI Community Outreach
Project: 12/2 at RI Food Bank

Join your colleagues for an evening of giving back to the community. Help the staff of the Rhode Island Community Food Bank "make sure there's enough happiness to go around" this holiday season. We will be helping to sort the generous donations received during recent food drives.

Co-workers, friends, and family (age 14 and older) are welcome to participate. HRM-RI will provide free pizza and soda. Let's show that HR is the heart of the community. Click to learn more.
Please register by November 24.

HRM-RI Members Host Chamber Roundtable

On October 28, HRM-RI members David Goldman, Elissa O'Brien, and Brenda Ossinger hosted a round-table event at the Newport Chamber of Commerce, designed to assist smaller businesses who may not have an HR professional on staff.

The event was well-attended and well-received. Topics ranging from FMLA to background checks to the ADA were discussed. The meeting went so well that the Chamber has asked HRM-RI to consider running this round-table monthly or bi-monthly. Interested in participating? Contact us!
